Public Lectures

New Visions of Nature, Science, and Religion will feature occasional free public lectures starting winter quarter 2005 and running through spring quarter 2006. There will also be a concluding public conference spring term 2006, featuring lectures by all core scholarly participants.

• Sunday, February 13, 2005: Primates, Monks, and the Mind (Evan Thompson, Frans de Waal)
• Wednesday, May 11, 2005: Between Apes and Angels: The Premodern Place of Humans in the Hierarchy of Nature (Hans Thijssen)
