New Visions of Nature, Science, and Religion will include two academic workshops, held in fall 2004 and 2005, of eighteen core scholarly participants selected by competition, and will culminate in a public conference in spring 2006, resulting in a major published volume. A distinguished visiting professor series, faculty seminar, undergraduate course (available online to the public), graduate seminars, graduate student training and support, web and television communications, and extensive publicity, outreach, and long-term fundraising will ensure maximum academic and public benefit from the program. A summary of major program events is given below by calendar year, with instructional quarters shaded. Events that will continue following completion of the program are noted with arrows.
